About Us
Our Story
Inspiring Young Readers MD is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to promoting literacy, particularly for young children.
Founded in 2023, Inspiring Young Readers MD is based in Montgomery County, MD. Our book charity collecting new books for local disadvantaged children age 7 and under.
Where do the books go?
The books we collect are distributed through a local public housing project, to children in some schools particularly impacted by poverty, and through our partnership with Small Things Matter, another local nonprofit.
